Did anybody else have a SUPER boring history teacher? He talks non stop for 1 hour and 10 mins :: he doesn't post powerpoints or have a school webpage so you have to audio record him. He rabbit trails. He was talking about what america is and then started telling us the history of pizza and tomatoes (?). This is going to be a long semester.

Well, the tomatoes are part of the pizza, as is the oil, cheese and spices- all melding together, and the yeast will give rise to the dough- so really, it IS about America. It's a metaphor.
I propose he is brilliant.
He's very passionate about what hes teaching, he just talks nonstop.

And this is related to nursing how?
Only boring people get bored. Listen to this guy. He may actually have something to say, even though it's not what you expect him to say. Think outside the lines.

This is on a nursing forum because........?
Blue side? Student forum?
Ok. Nevermind.
Aw.
I'm not boring and that was rude. I've seen alot of unrelated threads in this category. I was just wondering how others peoples history classes were. I won't post on this category again. I've been nothing but nice and try to help answer everybody elses questions.
It is off topic. Go to blue. :)

I didn't enjoy history or literature when in hs or college either. My priorities were just in other places. If you can find a way to make it a priority at this stage of your life (other than the grade) then you can probably bottle it and sell it ha!
Otherwise... take good notes? Or see if you can supplement the subject with outside reading or visuals? It's hard when you're a visual or experiential learner and the professor is a auditory only lecturer. Pains me thinking about it.
Can you switch professors?

OMG,how did I make it through school without power points, computers and websites?
Oh, they didn't have them back then. You paid attention to the teacher and took notes in class. You didn't check Facebook and Instagram or eat meals in class either.
