Maybe this thread will be fun, Add what you will, of course the women will be watching (they like to watch too)...I am sure there are more that can be mentioned, >Benefits of being a guy on the job:
1- I can ignore the "gossipy" conversations and NOT be expected to care or participate, BUT if some topic piques my interest I can jump in...HAHA!!!
2-A "side" from number 1- Since I don't stay involved in the banter, they listen when I do want to speak

Uhhhhhhhh, what does that have to do with being a guy. Just saying that plenty of women fall into that category.

3 - You can play stupid when one of the women is trying to reel you into the drama zone, and be really, really convincing.
4 - You'll always be somewhat of a novelty. You'll be needed for things based on nothing other than your gender.

The women I work with learned quick not to spread gossip in my presence. I started telling them what the other nurses say about when they aren't around.
"Christy...Diane said you always wear scrubs two sizes too small."
Diane...Christy said you needed to wax your upper lip."

5- When the Ladies discuss their Children, hysterectomies, or tubal ligations around me, I get to talk bout my decision to remain childless and my vasectomy!

Benefits of being a male nurse
No menstruation means no mood swings no offense to women out there but this is true
I can turn large patient with little help.
No maternity leave.
Easy to get along with co worker especially with women :)
