I got placed on the hold list/wait list again. :/

I've yet to hear anything, but I'd guess I'm in the same boat as chiseen. Was it top 10 on the waitlist that got into the January intake?

Hey chiseen have faith....some people dont accept the offer to attend or dont get everything in on time leaving you a spot!!!!!!!!!!!

Check your bcit email Lochte. My status didn't change. I just got an email from them containing the wait list info.

There are 25 people on the list but they haven't ranked people yet.

My status is still Pending Department Review, haven't received any email either. Perhaps I didn't make the wait list :S

Hey Chiseen, I'm in the same boat.

Looks like we'll have to wait till near August to know for sure if we got a spot or not.. I feel like I would've liked to have a straight accept or decline instead by now since the wait is really distracting XD. Too bad they won't be letting us know our place on the hold-list either..

Lochte, I didn't get an email to my regular account, just an email to my bcit one. Did you check there cuz I didn't notice it at first either.

For those of you who got in, I was just wondering what your grades are like and whether you have a degree or not? Does anyone know if acceptance was just based on the questionnaire after the short-list or everything including grades and the resume before?

kath22, if you mean the myBCIT account then I have checked it. I'll give them a call next week if I don't get anything.

Was there any other important information in the email about the wait-list besides it being 25 people?

oh ic, ya I meant the myBCIT account.

Basically the email said the August2014 class is full and that we're on the hold-list. If someone withdraws, then we'll be contacted by phone to be offered a seat.. They also said they won't be informing us of our placement ranking. Sigh.
