@Charlotte25 What did you think about the vocabulary and grammar section? Did you receive a high score?

I'm ONLY interested in Baylor's Fastbacc for now.

@Delta. I completed the HESI 2 weeks ago. Vocab (96) & Grammar (100) was quite easy in my opinion. If you have a decent command of English, then you should do great! Reading Comprehension was the trickiest.

@Delta I didn't think they were too bad! I got a 94 on vocab and a 92 on grammar. I thought the reading comp section was the hardest out of the english sections, but still managed to get a good score. Math was definitely the easiest I thought! Lots of ratio/proportion problems and fractions.

Does anyone know if admissions is on a rolling basis? I am not applying until after I take the HESI early September. Also how many students do they let in each year?

@Taylor,

I believe it is rolling because I won't apply till later in Sept too since I am waiting to finish 2 more prereqs. The application is open till Jan 15 anyway. During the info session, they said they take in about 70 ish students and I got the impression they don't cap. If your application & scores are good & you do well in the interview, then it seemed like it would be a shoo-in.

What study material did you use for vocabulary and grammar?

Great scores @Charlotte25

@Delta thank you! I used the review book that Elsevier sold and the one that they shared on Baylor's website!

Okay. I bought the Elsevier HESI review book.

Hey guys just got accepted into Baylor Traditional program Spring 2021 Do you guys know if there’s a group chat for that class?

Hey ya'll!

I'm so glad I found this forum! I just submitted my application on Sunday! I am anxiously waiting to hear back! Does anyone know when they might get back to me? I think NursingCAS hasn't checked off that they received my official transcripts, even though I got confirmation they were received... Nothing but nerves over here!

For those asking- I don't think the HESI was too challenging. I studied for a week before but it was mostly brushing up on grammar concepts and some HESI vocab. I stressed myself out for no reason!

Just sent a request to join the FB page as well!!
