Hey ya'll!

I'm so glad I found this forum! I just submitted my application on Sunday! I am anxiously waiting to hear back! Does anyone know when they might get back to me? I think NursingCAS hasn't checked off that they received my official transcripts, even though I got confirmation they were received... Nothing but nerves over here!

For those asking- I don't think the HESI was too challenging. I studied for a week before but it was mostly brushing up on grammar concepts and some HESI vocab. I stressed myself out for no reason!

Just sent a request to join the FB page as well!!

Hey! I was shocked to see that you had already applied! When I go to find it on NursingCAS the only one for Baylor that comes up is "Distance ABSN Spring Online" with a deadline of November 1, 2020. That's not right, is it? How did you find yours and apply? Sorry for the questions!!

This is what was popping up on my NursingCAS too! I was getting really confused. I logged out and closed my browser. When I reopened the browser NursingCAS asked me to verify what time frame I was going to apply, to which I said Summer 2021 and then the correct program Popped up!

I’m applying for May 2021 too. I submitted mine this week. So nervous about it. Does anyone know how long does it take to hear from Baylor? I also applied to join the FB

Hi! I have no idea how long Baylor will take to start responding. In the past it seemed like if you applied on the early side (now) you heard back about setting up an interview within a few weeks. I haven’t heard anything and it’s been a week.

@allitoombs same here. I read through the posts from previous years. Someone got an interview in August and got the result in early October. Have you received an email from Baylor saying that they got your application? I haven’t received anything, but my status on NursingCAS says verified.

Hi!
currently applying right now for the 2021 cycle! Wondering if anyone can advise me on the resume part - is it okay if it’s more than one page (I’m used to the 1 page business format but want to include everything with good descriptions). Also, under the extra documents portion on the NursingCas app did anyone include reference letters or anything extra? Can’t find anything on Baylor’s site about the extra optional documents

@davi18 I used the resume I used to apply for jobs. I didn’t attach any extra documents though.

Hey guys! I'll be an out of state applicant and just need the last two religion courses to complete. I'm taking world religion at the moment but not sure where I can complete the bible based course... The only course near me that includes the christian bible also covers judaism, and islam. Not sure if that will be accepted, anyone else taken this course online?

@valeriee11

Welcome. I am taking one of the religion courses (Old Testament) at Wayland Baptist University in Spring. It is all online.

@valerie11 Liberty University offers Old AND New Testament, both online.
