Apa format

Hi! Can anyone recommend a good program or website to assist me in writing my papers in APA format? I am starting WGU's RN to BSN next month and want to be on top of things from the beginning. Thanks in advance!

Used the Perdue OWL site for every paper I wrote in nursing school (and for every MLA paper I wrote for my BA!). Super helpful and easy to use. More importantly, never lost points on a paper due to improper citations :-)

This is the resource our instructors gave us. Very user-friendly and clear.

I used PERRLA for my entire Master's. Works great.

Absolutely buy the PERRLA program. I used it throughout my RN-BSN program, and I'm using it as I'm finishing up my MSN as well. It costs around $40, you can load it onto up to 3 computers/laptops at a time, and it is just a background program when you open MS Word. It automatically formats your citations into APA, inserts them appropriately, and puts them in the correct way on a references page (and it makes a correctly formatted title page, as well as abstract page if your paper requires it).

It has been an absolute LIFESAVER for me, and I would easily pay three times what I did for it. The best thing about it is it formats it appropriately FOR ME, there is no thinking involved on my part.

(I have no commercial interest, it's just an amazing program)

The PERRLA program has been great!

LOL! Didn't even notice my typo - must've been hungry. Yes, please use the Purdue site. Chickens are notoriously bad at academic work.

I have always used Purdue Owl. My instructors recommend it. It has been a huge help to me. Although, my first couple of papers I did on my own. I wanted to get used to the APA format. I had never even heard of these formats before seeing as how my last writing class had been 20 years prior. So I had my little reference book and I learned it on my own. Then I went to Purdue Owl because it made everything so much faster for me. I did extremely well on my all of my papers too. The ones I did on my own I scored A's on. Purdue owl just made my paper writing faster.

PERRLA is awesome. Best money I ever spent.
