is there anyone got in nursing program after retaking courses that you failed?

Back when I was young and dumb I failed PSY101 by not showing up to class (assumed they'd withdraw me, they didn't). Retook a year or so later, got an A, now in the nursing program. All programs are different though, talk it out with an advisor.

I hope I am eligible for applying for the nursing program... I regret what I did so far in this uni and wanna get into the nursing program so badly... Thank you for commenting my post...

Transferring a different school and applying for the program are the ultimate decision for me..

If your advisor is telling you that you are no longer eligible for the nursing program at your school, your time is probably better spent looking at other options. In my experience, many schools have a policy where students are disqualified from admission if they fail the same class twice. You may still have a shot since it sounds like you failed different classes. My suggestion would be to repeat those classes and look for other schools to apply to. You may also want to consider finding a part-time job or volunteer position in the healthcare field to boost the strength of your application.

Agre that you should retake whatever you need to and research nursing programs to find one compatible with the grades you have. Also, I believe you have to change your screen name. I believe rules here state that you cannot represent yourself as a nurse with being one.

I also believe thats true. I've seen many people with nurse or RN in their name who are talking about nursing school or going to nursing school and are told that the Terms of Service (TOS) state that you cannot use nurse in your scren name if you aren't one...you gotta earn it to use it!

If your advisor said that you won't be eligible, than you probably won't be. I don't see him/her saying that if it isn't the case. At my school once you were in the nursing program if you failed 2 classes you lost your spot, but you could reapply to restart the program. I don't know how it was with pre-reqs though?

I'd start looking for another school that would accept the most credits and would accept your grades. I know it stinks having to think about transferring, but it seems your only other option is switching your major. So, you have to decide if you want to be a nurse or if something else interests you that you would be able to do and stay at your current school.

My first language is not English, and I know that my english is not as fluent as American. what if I had hard time to use english.... so cruel..

Nursing schools are highly competitive. They often have hundreds of extremely qualified students applying for a very limited number of spots each semester. Nursing is also consistently named one of the most difficult college majors. If a program is going to invest in teaching you, they want to ensure that you are academically strong enough to do well in very challenging classes. So yes, classes that you take and your GPA prior to starting nursing school or even declaring yourself as pre-nursing are always going to count. I think you will find that to be the same in any program or major that you apply for, not just nursing.

It stinks that you weren't even a pre-nursing major but it's just how it goes. It's good your counselor let you know and even good they have such a policy. There's so many people trying to get spots in nursing programs, it's so competitive, that if they see someone that has failed even just one, and it comes down to you and someone else who didn't fail any, they would most likely get the spot. So, at least you know now so you can figure out something - finding another school or choosing another major. Since you were undecided it seems like you weren't sure about nursing anyways. Maybe theres something else your interested in that you can stay at your school for, if you don't want to transfer.

Not to mention, and not to be nasty, but if you're already failing classes and haven't even started the nursing program, it might not be for you. It takes a lot of hard work to make it through the classes - and most classes and definitely all clinicals are mandatory attendance.
