  1. Hello, everyone I just have a quick question about BLS for healthcare providers. I just admitted to the nursing program at my university and offered to take a course for BLS for health providers before getting into the nursing program next fall. There are four different sessions times offered, and each of them takes around 4 hours. So, I am wondering whether to take all of them or just choose one of them. Also, how difficult BLS examination is because I have no idea to learn several concepts and take the test in 4 hrs in a day. Is it that easy that most of the people get a certification? I would like to ask how people who have taken the class from different universities manage it. Thank you.
  2. Yeah thank you for your suggestion tho I knew that if I fail twice in the nursing program, I would be kicked out. That's what I knew since I came to my university. I didn't know that there is the policy for pre nursing student. However, I am not even in pre nursing major tho my current major is health care undecided but on the nursing track. Isn't it cruel that if my major is not even pre nursing but fail two classes or get below C I am no longer eligible for applying to the nursing program? My first language is not English, and I know that my english is not as fluent as American. what if I had hard time to use english.... so cruel.. I thought that policy is only for pre nursing students not someone like me..
  3. I don't know... but i wanna apply to the nursing program here... Transferring a different school and applying for the program are the ultimate decision for me.. You said so because it seems like there is possibility to archive what I am looking forward to right?
  4. I hope I am eligible for applying for the nursing program... I regret what I did so far in this uni and wanna get into the nursing program so badly... Thank you for commenting my post...
  5. Hello, I am currently majoring in health care undecided, and I came to madonna university in Michigan to study nursing. However, I have a problem to enter the nursing program. This semester is the last semester to finish all pre requisites for applying the nursing program. I couldn't changed my major into pre nursing due to low GPA that I got for two semester. I got A and A- in Human anp 1 and 2, and I got enough grades for science classes. But my problem is that I failed UNV 1010 and writing class due to absence but submitted all the works for the first semester, and I got D on psychology and WL because I forgot to submit my work. Therefore, my nursing program was delayed. I reflected on my life pattern, and I am putting lots of effort to go to class and get good grades in this semester. However, I met my new advisor yesterday that she made me so depressed. She said according to the policy that if student fail two classes the student will no longer apply for the nursing program so that she wanted me to think about other major. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU SAYING.... Then, there is no point of being here and I am so sorry to my parents too... Is there anyone to retake coures and get in the nursing program in spite of the policy?
