I know the question about the best shoes has been on here a million times but I am wondering what is the best shoe with a low heel (non clog type heel)?? I wanted Danskos really bad but when I looked at my guidelines it says 'low heels' (non clog type). So does that leave me with any good options? My feet hurt even when I'm not on them a long time, and I think I have heel spurs
I was wondering if I could get away with these but I think they are fugly:

I like the looks of those. I think the low heels probably entered your rules and procedure book as a result of someone buying those high soled Tennies that were so popular. I also like clogs, but I never can keep them on when walking fast.

MY feet used to KILL!!!. I would come home at night in so much pain. In the morning I couldnt even walk on them. It was always in my heels!. I talked to an orthopod at work. I thru out ALL of my clogs after.I invest in Walking sneakers now. Good ones. I find New Balance the best.MY feet are 99% better(I still have 12 hour shift pain) The pain in my heels is gone.
Good luck

I love my clogs!! I even got my dad ( retired mechanic -- wore clunky, heavy, steel toed work boots all the time) to try a pair -- He loves his too -- no bother with having to tie, untie etc... super comfy!!
The shoes you pictured look good!
Low heels as opposed to stillettos -- yeah, probably more comfy!!:rotfl:

I just ordered those same shoes! They're really comfortable. I think you would be fine with them - they're not open-backed clogs and they have a low heel.
They may not be trendy, but I'd rather have comfy feet than look pretty at work. :)

I've recommended these before - wonderfully comfortable, cheap, and yes, ugly, but they work for me :).

The Dansko Jette Occupational ones are kinda funny looking, but I'm sure they feel good on your feet. I'd actually recommend the Dansko Jocelyn from the same occupational line. I have them, and they have the same sole as those Jette ones but they're slip ons and pretty cute. I have those heel spur problems sometimes, but since changing to these shoes my feet have felt much better both at work and especially when I first wake up and my feet are the most tender.
