Administrator

I really need help with an answer.

i am a reinstated nurse in Texas with a tpapn contract.

i also have an associate degree in healthcare administration.

Would I be able to land a job as an administrator Assistant in long term living with me administration degree.

I know I would be allowed to work as the assiatance.

Does anyone one know the pay rate?

online it says the average is 20 dollars per hour and I would be happy with even less

thanks

In my state there is some type of license for administrators. I suppose you could not obtain one under those circumstances and thus could not be hired. Do an internet search for the requirements in your state or just cold call an administrator and see what they tell you.

If I have an enforced suspension in one state will all states suspend me? It's just to complete a refresher course and peer assistance

board ordered enforced suspension

You'd have to check with each individual board, but they each seem very interested in things like this. I doubt you could just hop over a few states and carry on as if nothing had ever happened.

Ok I was wondering since you can transfer when in the peer program but I did not know if you could to start a peer program anew in a different state

Don't all Boards of Nursing, in all states, have a requirement that one report a suspension? I have seen, on at least one occasion, where a nurse's license was disciplined in one state because (amongst other reasons) they failed to report license disciplinary action that occurred elsewhere.

I believe the answer is yes, but you would have to call the BON to find out that information. May also depend on why you are suspended!

Hello,

I am not sure if all the states are the same, but where I live the LPN program is about a year, but it only saves you one semester in nursing school I believe So in the end you will be paying way more money for something you don't really want. I would either find a university and go right for your BSN or just be patient and wait to get into the associates program and then do your RN to BSN after. I would not waste time and money doing an LPN program if you don't want to be an LPN.

MERGED MULTIPLE THREADS ON SAME TOPIC:

If you are suspended in one state, yes, you will face that in another state. The reason is due to several widely publicized cases where nurses went from state to state, were disciplined, didn't report the discipline and were not safe to practice.

I've been licensed in several states and the application always asked if I had ever been disciplined.
