So I have a parent that's upset I didn't post for Adenovirus. I'm a nurse for a daycare center. We post for HFMD, pink eye ect. I didn't think I should however we are aware and have been monitoring how many children may be sent out with an illness. What would you do?

Our county health department gives us oversight, I work private. They have been very open while I set up our schools office, even offering physician sign off on protocols (he actually has kids that go here) whether or not his children go here.

Our state Department of Health is my go to when I'm wondering if I need to notify parents or not.

I'd do nothing. It's the common cold...everybody has it.
For sure! But some people need to see it in black and white on all official looking paper!
It's a DAYCARE, what do they expect? Don't want your kid exposed? Make sacrifices or find an individual to care for your snowflake!

Maybe you should start framing your disease notifications as "immune-building opportunities".
