Okay, so I am currently on the waiting list for my school and it is a 2 year wait. I have been looking into going to another school instead, but they require more classes. I'm fine with taking the classes. I am 22 weeks pregnant and I'm due early September. Classes start in August. I'm not quite sure what to do.

Do I enroll in Fall classes or do I need to wait until Spring semester? I really want to get these classes out of the way so I can do this other program...I'm lost!

What kind of classes are you talking about? Are they pre-nursing? How many hours of classes will that give you? Do you have dependable child care lined up?

I would also need like 2 electives....maybe.

Yes, I have child care lined up, but with being due early September, I'm not sure how professors would be.

Can you take online classes?

I really do not care for online classes. I have taken 2 in the past and didn't like the teaching style.

It is unfortunate that you do not like online classes because you could knock a couple of the electives out at home while pregnant. I took online classes through my pregnancy and then after until my baby could go to daycare.

For me, it would depend on whether waiting makes a difference in whether I make the application deadline or not. Map out your schedule in both scenarios. Will waiting cause you to wait a year before you can apply? While newborns are a lot of work, they mostly sleep, eat, and poop. I think enrolling part time would be completely doable. And it might give you a little break from mommy hood.

I would wait for Spring. Having to take leave from classes to care for a new baby is going to be rough enough without having pre-nursing classes thrown into the mix. It's all up to you and what you think you can handle. It seems like a lot, especially for classes that aren't online.
