...the LVN-to-RN transition program. I was teary-eyed the whole way to school. I just can't believe I'm finally where I've worked so hard to be!!! If I was this emotional today, can you imagine how I'll be in June 2003 at our pinning ceremony?????

Good luck! I hopefully I will be starting my Lpn-Rn program soon. . I am still taking a couple of prerequesites this summer and plan to go right into the program in August. I take your actual Nursing program is only a year? That is cool. Mine is 18 mths long , but I have the option of taking afternoon or morning classes. This will help with my current work schedule.

Oh~ I can't wait! And as far as the tears, I cried at graduation, and I know I'll cry at our pinning ceremony. Tears are good for the soul! You go ahead and cry! I'm with you too!

I'm still on cloud nine...even after having our first quiz! I'm one of those strange people who LOVE school. They have these real neat computerized manequins (sp?) that talk, have "real" heart beats, lungs sounds, etc. The instructor programs it do different things and you have to assess what the problem is. VERY COOL!
