What's my title???

If you've never attended college, then you write "Never attended college". Intentions aren't realities until they are realized.

There are a number of certificate/technical programs that result in diplomas and not degrees, but they are not interchangeable with college experience. LVN programs would be one of them.

From the information provided in your post, the only title you hold is allthatshines, LPN.

My advice would be to call the FASFA peeps every time you fill out your financial aid just to be for sure.

1st year grad/professional is for master's /doctoral and will

eliminate you from all federal grants and subsidized loans.

If you accessed financial aid for your lvn or took even a single college course for credit (less than 30 credits total) you are first year/attended college otherwise first year/never attended

So even if I graduated LVN "college" it is not considered to be so since it is a vocational school, right? No wonder I got denied of all grants or anything at all, I received my FAFSA report yesterday. I am to attend a community college this Spring 2017 and got denied of anything. I went to my new school today and they told me not change anything and wait until it shows up on their end and we can correct it together. I am so confused about it, I didn't grow up here in the US and never had to deal with this. I hope I can still correct it all. Thank you everyone!!!

Yep - another shining example of governmental & bureaucratic nonsense. There must be yuuuuge numbers of Federal employees that are just focused on making forms as confusing and difficult as possible.

if you put grad student that's the reason for denial. Grants and subsidized loans are for students working on their first associates then bachelors. There is very minimal aid for doing associates after bachelors, 2nd bachelors or graduate degrees.

Fortunately the school is absolutely correct. Once the file is released to the FA office they can correct the records with you (you may need to sign statements that you made an honest mistake marking the wrong education level). All is not lost! Good luck
