I am halfway through my nursing program and a new member of this website.
I have the option of taking medical surgical 1 in the spring and pediatrics in the summer or pediatrics in the spring and medical surgical 1 in the summer.
I have no idea what to do.
Which is a better course sequence? What did you find harder? What did you have to take first?
Thank you!

In my program Peds seems to be A LOT easier. I don't know if this is fairly common or not, though.

Med/Surg first definitely! It helps with bachkground knowledge base of A&P and pathophysiology that helps coorelate things better when you start Peds. Peds was much easier for me..... (took it after Med/Surg) because I understood the harder part first! Always take harder course first and take it "face on" rather running from it in fear...what we fear becomes more complicated than it really needs to be or actually is! :)
