It kinda bugs me when people say... "gee.. you're smart enough to be a nurse..." especially since most units at the hospital would rather go down a nurse than be without a Health Unit Coordinator.

I can agree with that!!! I'll watch my mouth though, a lot of our HUCs are so smart they shoud be in n. school, but I can see how that could be worded wrong!

:uhoh3: just home after a long, long day. leave at 06.30 am and get home around 21.00. three days on--what a joy, so right now, I think I'm Human, but I just can't be sure!!!!:confused:

Thanks for the support Miracle1986 and all4schwa... sometimes being a HUC is a thankless job! In my hospital we are considered part of the nursing TEAM... I just figure I get the best part on my Peds unit. I get to have cheerio fights and play with babies at the desk while the nurses have to do all the procedures the kidlets don't like.
