Dissected a cow eye ball today. It was pretty cool. I got an 82 on my last exam. He assigned some extra credit over the weekend, which is soooo nice. I'm normally a 4.0 student, but this term was full-time school and full-time work, plus I have 4 kids. A nice solid B feels pretty darn good!

I need to adapt this mindset. I'm stressing over my 88 in A&P. I so badly want it to be an A. There's no point in stressing though, it'll be what it is. I just have to keep working hard.

Today marks two weeks until my very last final. I have a quiz and a test today. Next week is manic. I have a test on Monday, another on Wednesday and a paper due on Thursday. I also have three finals to complete at some point for my online classes. Then my last final is the 7th.

Wow, Jen! You have a LOT on your plate this term as well and should be very proud of your grade. It sucks not getting that A. I totally understand. When you're doing everything you can to balance it all, you can take that 88 and be proud!

Jen, you are doing so well and you're so close to the end! I appreciate the comments you make on so many threads; you address kind, thoughtful, and supportive. You are going to be an amazing nurse.

Oh my goodness, thank you! This made me tear up a bit. This means a lot to me

Just thought I'd jump in and say hi - we're nearing finals, eek!

I took my 3rd stats test and I just bombed it. I really, really regret taking this course online. Teaching myself statistics has proven to be a real challenge. I'll be lucky to pull off a B in that class.

I got my grade for my big group project for speech. 100%! She made a really nice comment, too, which I screen grabbed: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CyZDHQHUcAAf_Ba.jpg:large - I think I might pull off an A in speech, which will shock me.

I just got my A&P Lecture 3 exam grade back, I got a 93. I turned in my Lecture 4 exam on Monday, and tomorrow is Lab 4 exam. My grade in that class is an 88 right now, so I think in the end I'll have an A (there are at least 5 assignments she hasn't graded yet).

One more paper due in nutrition (my current grade in that class is 97), then it's finals time. If all goes well, I'll end up with three A's and a B (boo on that darn B).

I hope everyone is doing well!!! xo

I am on pins and needles for the next two weeks. My classes are all on the verge of an A or B depending on how my finals go. I could completely fail my last two tests in Biology and make a B or miss only 15 questions on both and have a solid A. My other class had been great until my group project which my other two partners were like watching a train wreck and we got an 80 on it so I will have to pull off a nice solid A on my final in order to get a strong A as well. My last class...well.... nobody knows, but I have a lot of extra credit building up so I should get a pretty decent grade regardless. I am so glad that this semester, my first time in on campus classes, is going as well as it is! Best of luck everyone. Finals are right around the corner. Starbucks better stock up because I am about to be there daily lol!! :specs:

I just took my first final - got a 98!! It was speech class, and you guys know what a struggle that class was for me, so I'm feeling pretty cocky right now. So I've secured my A in that class. Three more finals to go!

As an aside, I was notified yesterday that I've been awarded a scholarship. It's my first scholarship and it feels amazing to be recognized and supported that way. I cried, because I'm a dork like that.

How is everyone doing? Hanging in there?

Jen, that is so awesome!!! Excellent score on your final AND a scholarship - you are rocking it!!!

I kind of am rocking it, aren't I? :)

93 on my Nutrition final. I'll take it!

Umm, yes - most definitely!!! :woot:

This thread is so different from my actual class, where we started out with 36 students in lecture and now have 18. Started with 18 in lab and now have 10... $1000 down the drain for so many of these students. :sorry:

One of my coworkers is taking anatomy and she said there's like 8 students left. My A&P course didn't have nearly as high of an attrition rate (then again, I didn't see many of the same students from A&P1 in in A&P2 or 3....).

AP 1 is done thankfully.

The instructor was great. I think the reviews on Rate My Professor held true. Class was straightforward 9 exams and an optional final. Gave you the exam questions a week prior. No extra credit. The instructor let you slide a little bit if you showed up and tried I feel with the final grade, ha.

Now just have to wait and see what happens with Chemistry. Didn't feel good on the exam today and cumulative final next Monday. Then an extra credit class next Wednesday for Chemistry. Instructor drops I think lowest quiz score, lowest lab score, and lowest graded homework. The exam I think is worth about 20% of your total grade I believe.
