Is the B in stats? I'm nervous about that one next semester. I'm in Cali and our stats books are a little different than everyone else's.

Yep. I still have two more tests, so I can bring it up to an A (if I get my crap together). It's not really a hard class - it's like problem solving, but with math. It's that I took it online and the concepts translate better in person, IMO. You'll be fine :)

I've upped my work hours to about 35 hours/week. My client I care for needs me, and it turns out my family really does need the extra money. I've kept my 4.0 in English 101 and I've calculated just how much wiggle room I have in A&P. I can get an 87% and still get all my factor points for my nursing program. It's imperative that I do that. Our program is competitive just like most of the country. I've decided to take my last two sciences one at a time, so I will begin the nursing program in 2018 instead of 2017. But, I will start debt free and won't have to work very much. I'd rather do that than rush into it and have to work a lot. I can take a full year off to work and pay off debt. I'm excited to do that. When I do start the nursing program I'll be fresh and super excited to dive in.

I think that's an excellent plan!

Got a 91 on lab exam. More than half the class failed. I'm not gonna reveal my grade next time, people looked pissed.

Great job!

We've evolved as a class and are now celebrating everyone that gets great grades on their tests. I'm so glad we're past the envy stage.

We got to dissect eyeballs yesterday - it's one of the coolest things I've ever done. I learned SO much about the eye, too. I snapped a photo of the retina - how gorgeous is this?

WOW! That is so cool. We are doing a cow spine today and eye ball before the end of the term.

that was my favorite part of dissecting the eye ☺️

Muscle practical NAILED!

I earned a 97â„…, but then we had added bonus points from some activities, so my final grade was 117â„…, which is ridiculous but awesome.

One exam (not cumulative) and one practical to go...

That's fantastic!!!! I took my lecture exam today, and part of it's still not graded, but the part I have my grade on was an 88. It was a lot harder than I expected.

I have a take home test due next Monday, a lab test on Wednesday and my final the following Wednesday. I can't wait to see the back end of this semester.

Dissected a cow eye ball today. It was pretty cool. I got an 82 on my last exam. He assigned some extra credit over the weekend, which is soooo nice. I'm normally a 4.0 student, but this term was full-time school and full-time work, plus I have 4 kids. A nice solid B feels pretty darn good!
