Weekly pay?

Do nurses in the US get paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly? Or does it depend on the hospital, state you are in or other factors?

I get paid in a two week pay period in California...I think that's is the norm here in the States.

Depends on where you work. I get paid every week, I work for a homecare agency.

Recieve a paycheck every two weeks here.

What is fortnightly? I get paid bi-weekly, which is every other week here in Texas. Is fortnightly the same as bi-weekly?

I'm from New Zealand, so sorry about the 'fortnightly' :uhoh3: expression. It means every 2 weeks.
