websites for updates in nursing profession

i hope someone can direct me which websites to visit to enhance my nursing skills and update my knowledge.... i would appreciate it if anyone here can tell and suggest which websites to go.... also, a website that has a free downloading materials re:nursing profession..

Join your local nursing association, your spcecialty organization.

I agree. I know the ENA is pretty good about informing it's members of changes in emergency Nursing practice. ( clinical, research, and legislative) Several organizations have their own publications with the newest research and articles with CE.

there are a number of websites that have online continuing education articles which you can often read for free. i go through them periodically to see if there are any of interest for nursing students. you will, however, have to pay to get the official continuing education credit if you need it for license renewal here in the u.s. if you have subscriptions to some of the u.s. nursing magazines (nursing 2007, ajn and rn) you can use a special pin number that they supply you to access older articles from past issues that are now online.
