There is an abundance of people that wish to work in the US and there are not enough visas currently for those under the EB-3 status. Until there are more visas created, or reappropriated ones that were not used, you are not going to see anything pretty in the Visa Bulletin. And actually would recommend not even looking at it until word has come out that the
Visas are coming.
No sense in getting upset over something that you have no control over.

This is also from the May 2007 Visa Bulletin:
F. VISA AVAILABILITY DURING THE COMING MONTHS
Recent discussions have indicated that both the Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) and the Department of Labor still have a significant amount of cases in their backlog reduction efforts. As a result, the anticipated increase in demand has not yet materialized and may not for some time. Therefore, in an effort to maximize number use under the annual numerical limit, the Worldwide and Philippines Employment Third preference cut-off dates have been advanced by one year.
Unless there is a significant increase in Employment demand, it will be necessary to continue this rate of movement during the upcoming months. Such movement could be expanded to include other chargeability areas and preference categories.
One consequence of rapid cut-off date advancement is the inevitable increase in demand for numbers as adjustment of status cases are brought to conclusion at CIS Offices. Such increased demand could have dramatic impact on the cut-off dates. Readers will be provided as much advance notice as possible should this occur.
Its very possible that movement will continue.I hope its a movement of one year per month.
Let us all hope and pray it does.

I am pleasantly surprised to know that May 2007 EB-3 PD for the Philippines advanced a whole year from last month's PD :balloons:
to quote USCIS Unless there is a significant increase in Employment demand, it will be necessary to continue this rate of movement during the upcoming months. Such movement could be expanded to include other chargeability areas and preference categories.
Although this is not a guarantee of similar movements for PD's in the next few months, a year of advancement is certainly welcomed in the absence of current positive news regarding schedule A visa relief

No hope in these, as nurses wont come nowhere near to other EB3 groups!
wish for some legislative actions. there are lot of bills introduced, but still on way..eg. S 1083 skill bill sec. 201 introduced on 10-04-2007
Sorry, but the PD date is going to fluctuate back and forth, do not expect it to move up like this, but the other way. There are still way too many applicants then there are visas.
And there is still no Schedule A. So nothing has really changed. For any of you that had a PD that long ago, should have already been in the US working.

I am in no hurry to get to the US yet as I haven't saved enough money so I haven't really been current with the retrogression issues, but I just wanted to ask this. I am a UK born nurse, I140 approved October 2006 but I have been retrogressed to January 2002. According to the May visa bulletin what does that mean for me?
