Hi,

Does anyone here knows the step by step procedure to file for VERMONT-BON? I downloaded the application, it's only 4 pages. Is that really it? Will they not they require transcript from your nursing school especially for foreign grad?

How about the time frame for processing? Is it possible to get your license without SSN?

Has anyone undergone through endorsement from vermont to other state? is it easy?

It comes in 5 pages. 1st page is full of instructions. 5th page is for the nursing school to fill in and they have to attach a transcript copy.

Yes, you can get a license without SSN. Time frame is generally ~2 months, although this varies a lot. You must send in verification of your nursing education (from school) and nursing license (from registration body in home country).

The process to endorse to another state depends on the state you are endorsing to. From the VT end it is easy as they use electronic confirmation of your license.

i submitted my application just yesterday (Nov. 13, 2006)). i hope i can get my eligibility in 3 to 4 months as they have mentioned on their website. i just do have one problem, i hope they can process my application eventhough my license here in the Philippines is not released yet. i am not also sure if the license still matters to them(vermont BON).

You don't have to have a foreign license for Vermont, but if you answered that you do have one, then they need it to evaluate.

How about the question about the practice of nursing for 120 days/960 hours or 50 days/400 hours. Does it need to be filled out?

choose 120 days... i did that also... and i included the RLE summary which you can get from your school....

hi guys does vermont require a finger print card how can i request for that im from the philippines. Please reply ASAP. and how about the working days of 200hours ect. for 5 years will it need to be filled out and will it be okay if i will just fillup the form in hand writing?

I can not see anything to indicate you need fingerprint doing for Vermont. For child support you answer no. If you have not worked as a RN then you can leave it blank as a lot of new grads apply for license. Also ok to be done by hand

hi all.. do i need to attach a copy of my PRC license?? what if my license is not released yet?? anyone please??

hello guys..i have a follow up question regarding the 4th page of vermont application. "No" should be answered in the 1st question beacuse i am single but it says there that if you answered no proceed to question number 3 which states, "i am in good standing to or in full compliance with a plan to pay any and all unemployment contributions due to the State of Vermont."

If i answer "yes" it says there for me to complete the renewal, if "no", i must contact the office.

since i am still single, should i answer that or just leave it blank?
