Uworld??

Hello! I am graduating from nursing school this Saturday and I wanted to know your thoughts about purchasing Uworld. If you did purchase Uworld, was it helpful? Also, how many questions a day do you think I should do?

Hi, I have the same question about purchasing Uworld?

It’s a really great tool, I have found it super helpful and rationales are amazing. Taking my NCLEX Monday!

Yes! 100% get it. I would not have passed my NCLEX without it.

UWORLD was my saving grace. I knew that I knew my nursing knowledge, but when it came to application, I would always choose the wrong answer. UWORLD is a good mix of practice and knowledge. To be honest, I felt like UWORLD was even harder than the NCLEX. Everyone says that you "have" to do all questions in the qbank but I didn't. Quality over quantity. Do however many questions you need to do, but just PRACTICE at least once every day. Read your rationales and LEARN at your own pace. Just because you did 2500 practice Qs, it doesn't mean you're good to go. If I'm going to be honest, I only did about 200 questions from the qbank. At the end of every day or week, redo all your incorrect questions (you can create a practice test using only the questions you got wrong). This is something I did differently that helped me.

I've heard great things about UWorld, but others have suggested Saunders. Personally, I would suggest both if you can afford it.

Do it!! It is so worth the price! I passed the first try. The rationales are so helpful and questions just like the test! And I agree quality is what counts, not quantity of questions. Make sure you understand each rationale. That helped me the most! Really see why the answer is correct and the others are wrong. This program helped do this!!

good luck!!

I am using Uworld and do 100 questions a day my goal is to complete the Qbank before I take the Nclex i think it is super helpful because when i first started doing it i wasnt doing so well but i have seen improvement in my scores. Everyone studies their own way i read all of the rationales and after i get a question wrong i write down the rationales for it. I got a study plan it said said to do more questions a day the closer you get to your nclex test day. anywhere from 75 to 150 questions a day is good.

What package did you guys feel was the best value?

I graduate this week and I would like to take the NCLEX ASAP. I got 99% probability of passing the NCLEX on my first try according to the predictor ATI but I hear it's not very accurate. I'm looking at the $179 package but not sure if I should go with the cheaper one or not...

I just found out today I passed my NCLEX-RN exam using uworld only. I highly recommend it and will sing it’s praises as long as I am a nurse!! I passed the exam in 75 questions! Uworld prepares you like no other q-bank out there. Make a commitment to studying everyday until the day before exam day. Uworld will not fail you!

Hi, it took me about 2 weeks after graduation to get my NCLEX test date and less than a month to sit for the exam. I would choose the package that is one month if your planning on taking it soon. I bought the more pricy package and did not utilize the full three months. It did help and is amazing but if your planning on taking NCLEX get a package that will not go to waste. Good luck ❤️?

Thanks for the advice Marisa. That was my main concern, I'd hate to buy the 90 day 2 Assessment version if I am trying to get the NCLEX out of the way ASAP.
