UTMB Spring 2018

Hello everyone! I plan on applying to UTMB for Spring 2018 entry and can't find a post on it, so I decided to make one! I am taking my TEAS end of April. I already have a degree from the University of Houston in Health Communication and minor in Nutrition. I am finishing my last two prerequisites (A&P2, Microbiology) right now at a community college. Anyone else looking to apply? Deadline is coming up next month, so I thought it would be awesome to get a group thread going! Would love to hear from others applying!

I think everyone who said they had one the 1st week got accepted,if I'm not mistaken denjam, charlea, me ,mk, tana, riyana, and autumn have been accepted

How many times can a person retake the TEAS (ati)?? I applied for spring but havent received any notifications yet. I'm thinking on applying for summer 2018 to just be on the safe side.

I don't think there is a limit. It's kind of financially limiting IMO, at $100/pop but I don't think ATI will ever turn you away. UTMB can see all of your attempts though.

Twice under the UTMB code.

Are you sure about this? When I send my scores via the "share" button on the ATI site I choose which one I want to send. If taken under UTMB's code I could see this being true, but not sure otherwise.

UTMB does see the amount of total attempts if you looks at your TEAS score sheet, top right it says attempt # out of however many attempts you did so they would just look at that and im sure they would wonder for ex. if you took 3 attempts and they get the 1st attempt submitted, they would wonder how you did on the other more recent ones.

You can take the TEAS as many times as you'd like. But nursingCAS asks that you submit all attempted scores I believe.

you only upload the scores that are being submitted, they don't ask to see all attempts

This was confirmed by Elizabeth Botello for fall applicants who asked this question.

Fairly confident. I seem to remember them saying this at an open house.

Can someone be brutally honest with me on what my acceptance rate to UTMB with a GPA of 3.34 and with the TEAS score of 78.7% in reading, 81.3% in math, 66% in science, and 79.2% in language? I know my chances are fairly slim compared to others. I had to retake a few classes like A&P and got an A, plus I took the TEAS twice. Thank you!
