Congrats timewilltell!! I'm from San Antonio also, and would have loved to go to UTHSCSA, but I'm currently taking the second Chem lecture, so that is what held me back from applying for the Spring 2013 program! I'm sure you will love it!! Good luck!

I still have not heard anything

Aaaaah I just about had a heart attack! I was checking mystar right as I was pulling out of a driveway...I'm sure that I almost caused a huge accident--don't remeber...but I was accepted!!! Yeeeiiii!!! Good luck to those of you that are still waiting, and be confident in your interview if you have one pending!

Thank you so much futurepedrn22, just checked MYSTAR and to my suprise that green circle that I have patiently been waiting for, finally changed to a check asking to accept or decline.I feel so good now and also glad because someone else still has a chance to get in as i wont be going.Congrats to u too and to those still waiting,pls keep faith and dont give up.

I have given up. I was told a week last wednesday. People that were told a week received denial letters. I checked the mail today and nothing! She told me to call tomorrow if I still hadnt heard anything. I just feel like if it was an acceptance mystar would have changed already

dee1388, my TEAS was low 68% and overall GPA 3.95 ( only had a be in Gen chem 1,so I am not so sure how to cal the science GPA).u should check your email.If u havent heard anything at all maybe they are going alphabetically.my last name starts with an "E'.did u complete the saupplement form and questionaire? pls let me know.good luck.

Those people got denial letters but you still have'nt got acceptance or denial letter.Your case might be different.ur mystar could change tomorrow or next who knows?they told me 3-4wks when i called last. Anyways, I wish u all the best and I also know you from ut houston forum too, so I hope u get accepted(you will) into one of these schools.

wow you have a very high TEAS score which i think putting everything in consideration should be able to lift ur chances. I had applied to UTHSCSA to get in this fall but wasnt accepetd and they did send me a denial email.so if u havent got one yet just hang in there. My TEAS was low and i thought maybe my GPA kind of made up for me in a way. your GPA is not verybad and I know we all have stuff going on and i hope the schools understand that.I am hoping u get in.

I was denied entrance last semester, and as far as I know-they don't bring applicants back from being denied; they pull candidates in from the wait list.

But don't start thinking rejection just yet. Your TEAS is really good, and they are doing interviews for some.

Congrats futurepedrn22!! My mystar went back to its "transcripts in progress" triangle after I accepted, but I got home and had an acceptance letter in the mail! I'm so excited for you. Can't wait to meet all of you in January!
