Thank you Jade! Jazzy, thank you too. I bet I do still need the CPR, but I believe that UTMB does the remaining vaccinations at a very discounted rate through the student health center. Do you know how much the class runs? SanJac offers it for $85, but I don't know if that's good or not. I sent an email to see what they say about my CPR card, and I'll let y'all know what I find out. I sure hope that emag gets something!

:anpom:GOOOO KatieLou!!!!!! You finally got that cheer spirit going again. GOOOO Lou!!!!

I know a lady who does CPR certification for 25$!!! She does them on Saturdays and she does them at her house...kinda weird...but that's where my mom got hers for UTMB. She has pretty small classes and she's really nice. If any of you want to do classes I can easily give you her name and number.

haha thanks Jazzy....I almost forgot what it feels like to be optimistic. I wish I was still a cheerleader because I'd be doing the loudest cheer of my life and flipping all over the place!!!

i have been checking out cpr classes at the american red cross.

i communicated with this group back in june and since my cpr card expired they said i had to start over:

"shirley,

you would have to take a basic class. it takes 2 ½ hours, cost $45."

i think utmb requires that our cpr class be red cross certified. is your friend red cross certified katie lou?

Ms Sealy, the class I took is red cross certified and it was 2 1/2 hrs and it was $40.00.

Hey Kweave, where r u I was wanting to know if u got an interview?

Cool..$40-$45 bucks is good..and it only takes a couple hours...we could know that out before the interview.

Jazzy STOP IT!

lol

I saw on another thread Miss Pink got into UTA, so Conrgrats WhOOO HOOOO Miss Pink!!!!!

Yes, she is Red Cross certified  I might be off a little on the cost...I'd have to ask

Congrats miss pink!! But Im gonna have to chastise her for not telling us!!!

That is good Katie Lou. I live in NW Houston, near willowbrook mall. What area of town is she in?

Hi All,

I have been searching for an appartment, a decent and safe place around UTMB to stay and be able to focus on study is rather costly ...

Anyone want a roommate? I want a roommate and I can be a roommate, too.

I have 2 kids who will be staying with my husband during the weekdays. I basically will meet with them and stay with them every weekend in Houston.

Let me know if you are interesting in sharing a room with me. We can be good studying partners too.
