UTMB FALL 2014

@Phattrng & @raidergirl95 they honestly did not tell me when denial letters were sent. Our conversation was very brief. They just said all denial letters have been sent at this point, so if you have not recieved anything by now then you are still considered for admission.

I think no news is good news at this point... so if anyone hasn't heard back about interviews or status just yet it's not neccessarily a bad thing. But I understand people who are anxious about it. I've been checking my mystar multiple times a day.

@cassidy yes I believe it is a full ride. UTHealth and UTMB were the only schools that I applied to. I do not expect to get into the honors program or into UTHealth because both are very selective. If I do get into UTHealth but not UTMB honors I am not sure if I will change my mind on UTMB. Both schools are very good and have their own pros and cons. Galveston is a bit farther for me, but I love the island and the feel of the campus and the history. I've grown up in the suburbs so the city is exciting but scares me at the same time, lol!

Without trying to sound like a broken record, you should definitely keep on them. I am happy that you emailed and I hope you will get news-especially positive news soon! From what I remember, all of your stats were really good so I can't imagine why you wouldn't have heard back yet. Since they are now on what looks like the second wave of interviews and you interviewed on the first day, I wouldn't worry about pestering them anymore. You are owed an answer :)

I just talked to the school of nursing and they said that denial letters are sent out via E-mail and that they should be sent out by the end of tonight. Also, interviews and acceptances will continue to be given by the end of March.

Galveston is a bit far for me too! I will probably move down if I get in and go there. It would make my decision much easier if I just got into one or other! Haha. I am between the two.

I am sure you will get into UTHealth and you obviously have a pretty big shot at the honors scholarship at UTMB! (:

Congrats on all the new acceptances! So exciting! My best friend got an acceptance e-mail this morning, so keep checking y'alls emails and stay positive! I finally scheduled my interview for the 18th! They didn't have many options left when I called but I am thrilled and nervous all the same! I wish the best of luck to all of you! And those who are still waiting for an interview, DON'T WORRY! I'm sure it's just around the corner! Keep your head's up!

Just relax....it's very informal and actually enjoyable. The faculty prof that did the interview was really nice. Have some questions ready that you'd like to ask them also.
