UTA AP BSN program Fall 17

So I'm trying to see anyone is going to apply for UTA's AP BSN program the fall of 2017. I have been following threads and trying to get some information about how this program is set up. I did my application to the school last year for the Fall of this year. I'm trying to knock out my science classes, but I have withdrawal from my biology class 4 times and Im wanting to take my chemistry over the summer. Possibly doing my other 2 sciences with UTA. I haven't taken the Hesi A2, I plan to take that around the Fall. So, I just like us to update with each other and encourage each other to get into the program. I would do my stats, but I haven't taken gotten them yet. As soon as Im finished, I will post them. Everyone is free to post theirs

idk if anyone already answered your or you already figured it out, but you need to download the scores to a PDF and then you can upload it in the second application.

Online started first week of September....like September 8 when I started in 2014.

When is the earliest we will find out if we are accepted into the AO BSN program? I have a 4.0 and a good HESI score, but zero considerations. I'm very nervous!!

Ummm, I think April is when they sent out the letters...I was initially waitlisted and then I was offered a spot in May I believe. I did not have a 4.0, I had a good hesi score and I was working at a partnered hospital.

It's a great program and I'm definitely thankful I was accepted to the accelerated program because I would have died if I had to go back to the classroom.

Good luck!

Thank you! The wait is so long!

Anyone who has previously taken Pharmacology and Pathophysiology have any advice for those of us taking it this semester? I wanted to get a head start on reading but my professors haven't sent out the syllabus yet :(

My only advice is DO NOT take them together...you really should take Pharm 1st. My professor for Pharm was highly upset when she found out that several of her students were told by their advisers that it's not big deal to take them concurrently.

Okay...so I am graduating with my first bs degree. How do I get partners? Which hospitals are partnered?

U you Have To Apply At One Of The Partnered Hospitals Prior To Applying And Must Maintain The Position Until At Least The First Day Of School. Some of the Partnered hospitals are methodist dallas, parkland, baylor (I think) and I do believe any in the THR network. The application will tell you which hospitals are Partnered. (Sorry about the random capitalization-my phone is playing with me)

SO the Pharm 3365 600 went live last night for several hours, it was taken down this morning. However, the syllabus is still accessible through the syllabus search of the student services page. Also, this teacher says you should take Patho before Pharm. That being said, it seems that she is aware that about half the class was instructed to take it concurrently. Every other school in the area, except UTMB, teaches Pharm and Patho in J1 concurrently with a clinical. So, I'm confident we can succeed. Good Luck everyone!!!

Also, I should mention, I've applied for Fall '17, and I have a friend who graduated from the program in May '16.

I'm in the same boat :(. Did you end up retaking it? I did mine at UTA few weeks ago as was told by a guy at the testing center that "learning style and personality sections were OPTIONAL" so I didn't take the personality section.

I did very well on the test so I went ahead and apply anyway. My HESI score has been posted and I haven't got any email from the nursing department about incomplete HESI score.

Do you think my application will be declined?Have you talked to your advisor about this?
