UIC Graduate Entry Program

Okay I'm debating between a pencil skirt and a dress (those suit type formal ones). I don't like pant suit on me .... But I'm wondering is a dress an appropriate choice? With a blazer over it or should I just stick with the safer choice- pencil skirt?

for my specialty Adult Geriatrics primary care NP=the coordinator has not yet emailed interview spots (at least I haven't gotten that email)-but I hope we get it Mon. @rainkissedleaves-I think either a pencil skirt or dress would be great. I am planning to wear a dress (suit type dress)-getting it dry cleaned this weekend!

Okay, I'm freaking out a little bit. I got the email from AS stating that I have been granted an interview, but I still haven't received a second email with a link to the available time slots. Anyone from PNP specialty that was granted an interview have this issue too?

Hey FishSauce, it sounds like most of the PNP folks received the email about interview time slots before getting the email from abc. Did you check your junk mail? It should have come from zyz Something along the lines of "Doodle link" in the re line!

Does anyone know the total number of students in the GEP program? And does anyone know how many spots they have per specialty (I'm peds).

I went to an info session over the summer and remember hearing it was closer to 70 students now. I could be thinking of another school though. I thought I wrote it down but I just went through all the papers for the schools I've been applying to and I couldn't find the number.

I went to the info session in early February and the guy said this year they are admitting 72 students for this application cycle. He didn't say how many specifically for each specialty because they didn't know at the time. That was also before they got rid of the FNP specialty so they might be admitting less than that? Guessing it will be around 70.

I sure hope that they do not admit less because they eliminated FNP. Eliminating FNP made it competitive enough for all the other specialties....
