TWU Spring 2009

Hello everyone just wanted to see if there were anymore hopeful spring 2009 applicants out there. I submitted my application already and just sitting back waiting till Nov when acceptance/rejection letters are sent out. I know they said for us to check out emails everyday in October. If anyone has been through the application process before please share your experience. Good luck to everyone :wink2:

CONGRATULATIONS......Enjoy the Party:yeah:

Sad doesn't even describe how it feels :crying2:

Hang in there, Princess_WannaBe! I know you really wanted an answer, but I think the fact that you're flexible between Dallas and Houston is going to work in your favor. Relax, get some sleep, and see if things don't look different tomorrow. I'm sure you'll be on pins and needles waiting for your final answer, but I can't help but think that things are going to swing in your favor.

That was a very kind post to Princess WannaBe. I hope she knows how much we all are supporting her.

I believe everything will work in her favor for sure.

Thank you. I wouldn't tell her that if I didn't fully believe it. She's really worked hard (as we all have), and I think the wait list is positive thing.

And, Princess_WannaBe, if by chance it doesn't work out for Spring, you at least have a Plan B--Fast Track. HANG IN THERE! You've come too far to give up!

Hello AggieNurse2B

I am still waiting...no word today. I did not even get a waiting list email so I wonder about myself as well.

Will a 3.7 GPA and a 67 NET get me there.

More waiting!

I didn't realize they were already announcing the students accepted into the Houston program. I haven't received any e-mails or letters, but I'm not giving up if I don't get in.

Thanks guys. I'll just wait and see what happens and I guess the worst that can happen is that I can get into fast track!!! I know things will look better in the morning. I know this is mean but I hope someone doesn't take their spot :bowingpur

I believe Denton sends out all acceptance/denial/waitlist information for Dallas and Houston campuses. I wish you the best :typing

What is your GPA/net status?

Thanks. I applied at the last minute, and there is still some time for improvement. I want to start working in the health industry, so that might give me a heads up for programs that interview. Also I have a better chance in a program that looks at cumulative NET scores, since I am better at math than reading. Hmmm....UT is looking like a good fall back.

What is your GPA/net status?

Ahh!! You had to ask me that...

I have a 3.42 GPA. I made too many B's when I wan an art major. I will probably have to retake some of those classes. They are easy, so it will just be mostly a waist of time and money. It's irritating.

My NET reading was 64%

:crying2:

I had a 90% on the math, but I guess I'm not good at reading. Who knows. I will do better next time...

Anyways, you have a way better chance at getting in than I do. Good luck to you! There is always Fall....

You applied for Houston?
