I took my test July 04, 2009. Still no name on the BRN site. I did the Pearson trick and got the POP UP. I took the test in San Francisco, CA. California doesn't participate in the Quick Result Service. I've been so restless. So I called the BRN. The lisencing officer told me they do not have my transcript in their system either because my school didn't send it or it's still processing in their mailroom. Did anybody have any transcript issues. If so, what did you do about it. Should I request another transcript from my school. This sucks. And if any of you had transcript issues, did it delay your results for the test?? If you passed would ur name be still posted on the site as pending or not at all because you didn't have your transcript in. Any information is greatly appreciated!

That seems really messed up... You should not have been able to take NCLEX if they didn't have your transcripts verifying that you actually had graduated from a nursing school.

I'd go ahead and request another transcript from your school--the worst thing that happens is that your BON ends up with two copies of it. But first, double-check with your school to see if you have any holds on your account such as an unpaid bill or overdue library books.
Though as the previous poster said, you needed the transcript to get the ATT and take the NCLEX, so someone's got to have a copy of it somewhere.
I don't have any unpaid fees and I know our grades were posted on early June....we can apply early in California. approximately 1 month before we graduate.
And it's not contingent upon their receiving a transcript? Odd. Then definitely request a new one be sent.
Where I am, we could apply before graduation as well, but we wouldn't get our ATT until our transcript showing that we graduated arrived at the BON.

I'm having the same issue, only I was not allowed to take my test yet. I have not received my ATT. I called the nursing board in my home state (MD), and they said they had my app, my background check and fingerprint stuff but were missing my transcripts. So, I paid money to have my school send them and myself a copy. I got mine in the mail on Monday, so the board should have gotten their copy. It is a hassle just to get through to them! I'm so stressed because classmates have taken theirs and passed, and I haven't even gotten my ATT.

If training in Ca then the BRN will allow you to sit the exam before they receive your transcripts as long as your school has sent in confirmation that you will be graduating.
OP I would say ask for another copy to be sent, and the BRN will not release results until file is complete
Good luck

im in Long Beach, CA and my school just sent our transcripts on july 2nd. (we called) and those that took nclex before that aare still waiting for their results... but those that are taking it after are getting their results in 4 days like usual only license verification on the BRN. i hope to find out tonight @ 0315 when i check online, i took it on july 7th and got the pop up on pearsonvue. Wish u all the luck.
Apparently three of my classmates who took the boards earlier than me had transcript issues and had to request another copy to be sent to the Board of Registered Nursing. One of them took it straight to the BRN location in Sacramento just to be sure they received it. I will go and get another one sent to the BRN. I'll let u guys know if its good new once it's all resolved. I got the pop up via Pearson trick. Praying and crossing fingers!

Since they told you that your transcript was missing, you should immediately arrange to have another one sent. If a duplicate arrives, well no harm done. But if you wait, then you will be delaying everything until it is determined that you really do need to have a new one sent. Good luck.
Just found out that my school sent my transcript on July 08, 2009. It takes 2-5 business days to mail. And due to the high volumes of mail that the BRN receives, it may take up to 3 weeks for them to enter it in their system. So I'm going to wait, wait, and wait some more to know if I passed.
You nurses who took the test in states with Quick Result service are lucky! At least you guys get closure as soon as 48 hours. I'm still nervously contemplating on my results on my test that shut off at 75 questions. I did the Pearson trick and got the pop up, but how reliable can it be.
Isn't it over 80% of nurses who domestically went to school in the U.S. pass their NCLEX the first time. I know there are still people there that got the pop up and failed like a small percentage of people. SOME people who failed do not want to let the world know they failed. So the Pearson trick looks valid bc its mostly the people that Passed posted their results and the pearson trick worked. I know I would have LET THE WORLD know if I passed. But may not if I failed. I'm pessimistic, maybe because my school lagged and I have to wait...............sorry had to vent.
