That was the impression that the context gave you? Maybe that's a good argument for not expecting people to extrapolate word meaning from context.

Labeling someone as a MAGA ....it's a slur.  It means don't engage with them, don't let them know your address, keep on walking, don't marry them and don't marry their daughters.

Yes.  I would liken it as some of us label ourselves as woke and some people use it as a slur like it's the worst possible thing.  Some have said wokeness is the biggest threat to our Democracy and freedoms.

Back in May he appointed what was then his 5th state Supreme Court Justice since he took office.  I'm not sure this has ever been a public process when vetting and not sure why this is news now unless it's something the general public in the rest of the states don't know.  With this Supreme Court and the lapdogs that are the state house and senate, he surely has control.

I for one am disappointed that Biden doesn't retire at the end of this term.  It still baffles me that Trump is so favored but y'all know that.

 Hurd says in the ad, "The soul of our country is under attack," and goes on to identify threats to Americans — illegal immigration, fentanyl, "out of control" immigration, crime and homelessness. "

Well, I think a LOT of Democrats would agree that these are areas of concern but what have the Republicans done to address any of them..or even offered up any ideas?  I wish the Democrats could come up with a dark horse candidate.
