Teas Test

Ok i have talked to other people and read on here..so is it all the same test, are there different versions and will i take the same version of the test from the first time i took it? i emailed the ATi place and they said that its the same test just different order?

I took 2 different tests in the same week.. one on Wednesday, one on Thursday. Completely different in both content and level of difficulty (IMO).

I think it must vary. My retake was the exact same test (format & content) as my 1st.

But. we have to wait 30 days in between taking tests and can only take 3 over a 2 yr. period. So, maybe that is why we are given the same test.

Math scares the crap out of me!! I have the TEAS study manual, but I just don't get the math part! My daughter's friend is helping me and it's way better than trying to figure it out just by going by the book, but i'm still confused!! Any tips on how to make it easier on yourself????

I took my TEAS again today and brought my grade up from a 78% to an 86%. The test was the same both times.

Now I just hope this score with the A's from my pre-reqs will be enough to get me in!! *Fingers crossed*

It was great reading all of the notes about the TEAS test....i will be taking it april/08..and have been told to study the science section very carefully, it has 3 parts...

i just took my TEAS. I scored in the 98th percentile for my program and 97th percentile nationally. I'm so flippin stoked!! It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Only a couple Algebra questions. Most were just lengthy adding and subtracting, figuring out income, tax, total spent or saved, etc.

The Science was more difficult than I expected but I scored a 90% in that area. I was hoping for a mid 80s score but I did much better. Now all I have to do is apply and wait!

Good luck to everyone that hasn't taken it yet. Just take a deep breath before you go in and you'll be fine. It's really not that bad.

you poor thing. i hope you get into your program though. i'm at ivy tech in richmond. they're accepting 40 applicants for rn-traditional track, 50 apps. are being accepted for the lpn program, and 30 -lpn to rn-transitional track are being accepted this year. i'm trying for lpn program starting in august.

Can anybody please tell me if the manual from ATI is ebook or just text? I'm taking the TEAS this weekend but have not purchased any study guide yet. I just know this forum today, I think it helps a lot. After reading all the messages about TEAS, I still can't decide whether I should buy study guide from Morrison Media or from ATI. Morrison has ebook and the my issue is that I need the study guide asap. Please help me!!!

Go to the public library and get it from there to save money. That's what I did...studied for a couple days and got a 90.6%

i have taken the teas twice. i failed the math the first time and did well on all the other subjects. the second time i passed everything. i haven't had math in over ten years and science since hs 20 + years ago. the math was the worst for me. i got the study guide and it did little to help. i had a classmate tutor me in math and that is what saved me. if you have a good memory you will do well the second time. i did really well in science. it is really common sense on a lot of it. always chose the option that provides the most detailed outcome. on graphs look for the one that doesn't seem to fit. in math be aware that numbers separated with a : are ratios....that really threw me the first time. know you metric conversions and percentages. reading will not be a problem. know your sentence structure and punctuation. spelling is not difficult if your preparation accommodates the necessary problems in an efficient manner. one other hint for science...80/35 the top number is the total of protons and neutrons. the bottom number is the number of protons. you would subtract the bottom number from the top to identify how many neutrons there are. good luck!
