Really? TB tests need to be checked in 24-48 hours. If it has been a week, it is too late. Google tb test results to learn what is positive and what is negative.

What do u mean IT'S to late so what do I do then and how do I know if I'M negative or positive

I Google's it and I'M not getting any. Confirmation I really don't understand honestly because inhale to turn my arm to see where they injected it it doesn't itch or anything. It just. Shows where he inserted what ever it was ima go in tomorrow because I don't wanna. Fail. I need this new job I was just wondering if anyone can tell me anything that can help out. Information

You're going to have to do it again. It must be read 48-72 hours after you have it done. At this point, the test is void.

When you have it done again, you don't have to do anything special with it. Don't stress about washing it in some special way or avoiding hitting it or whatever. Just go about your day.

I'm assuming you're talking about a ppd to test for tuberculosis. A reading on a ppd shouldn't be a week later, it should usually be 48 hrs. Also you can get an x Ray to test for tuberculosis I believe.

Test MUST be read in 48-72 hours. Redness is not the indicator but induration is. Contact you provivder ASAP!

TH tests need to be read by an individual that is qualified to read them at the facility. I am sure they told you this information and you must have misunderstood something.

The CDC (Centers for disease control in the US) has information....CDC | TB | Testing & Diagnosis

From the CDC the poster for interpretation of the results. http://www.cdc.gov/tb/publications/Posters/images/Mantoux_wallchart.pdf

We cannot give medical advice as per the Terms of Service. You need to call the facility for further instructions you will probably need to have the test done again.

I am state certified to place & read TST (TB tests) what they've said above is true, you do not measure redness, but induration. But it needs to be read by the same facility who placed it within 48-72 hours. Any later than that, it needs to be placed again as they are no longer valid after the 72 hour mark.

I took my TB skin test in February and since I came from Africa, I tested positive second round shot, the first round I was negative, been taking medication 1800mg of pills for three months. Again wherever you had the shot, they must have given you enough info. about the readings, always they do two shots in intervals. Best

My injection site was still a bit red after they checked mine- didn't matter- I didn't have TB :)

That's a two-step TB test.

Test 1, read 48-72 hours later. Test 2 administered 1 week or so later and read within 48-72 hours.

Mine has turned red with a small give for the past 10 years or so since the components changed. It's never positive as there is no induration (which kind of feels like a peanut under the skin IMHO). My risk is the reaction can get worse but then there is the blood test or alternative screening methods
