I think most of these questions will have to be answered by your facility.

Its been a while since I have done cysto.

How many do you do in a day?

It depends on the facility. When I worked at a private hospital, we did roughly 5 in a day with one cysto suite. In a teaching institution, the number increased to about 10 a day using 3 suites.

How many nurses in the room?

One nurse, one tech, and an anesthesia provider

Mostly done under local? If not, do you have an anesthetist? RNs wouldn't do any sedation as they sometimes do in endoscopy units, correct?

Again, it depends on the facility.

How long are patients monitored after? Do they go straight back to day surgery?

Do they have IV's?

They should ALWAYS have an IV.
