Hi there !
If you find our patient on the flor/soil with an apoplectic insult ---
--- do move him ?
(Sure ! Life support measures !)
But if this is not necessary ---
Do you carry him into his bed, or do leave him there to wait (with you) for the ambulance?
(ulterior motives : thrombus/embolus)

Why on earth would you carry someone inside with an acute medical emergency. Ensure airway and call 911. Leave the field EMS to those trained (first responders, EMTs, Paramedics)
Thank you JBN,
thats what I agree.
But our "Chief" has a written "Standards" for every xxx .
(Stolen anywhere from the net and never revised)
--- "Bring the patient into his bed and ..."
Talking with him - about revision - is ---- not very "comfortable".
And we have a lot of problems, if we don`t follow that xxx.
It appears you are not in the US
You`re right.
It`s Germany.
"Regulations vs. knowledge"
A global theme I suppose.

That's ridiculous- how are you expected to carry a debilitated pt into a house by yourself?
I guess your company must want to pay for injuries you may incur to yourself and possibly the patient.
Call for ambulance keep pt safe- supportive care- blankets, etc.
I have a relative named Elfriede :)

I would never break my back to carry an unresponsive person to their bed. Dumbest thing I've heard today and it's been a LONG one.

Why on Earth would you move a patient from a firm surface (the floor) to a soft surface like a bed? So you can give useless compressions? Obviously that person has a very limited medical background. It's scary that they are often the ones creating the policies we must all follow.
