If you feel you don't have enough time, then reschedule your test and give yourself enough time. Then get it together and study with the time you have allotted yourself. Give yourself another three weeks to three months, however long you think you will need.

also, take a break between testing and give yourself a day or two to absorb what you know. Good luck!

are you taking nclex pn or rn?if you think you are confident enough and if you know the material, then take it. im planning to purchase kaplan qbank as well for my upcoming nclex pn. let me know if kaplan qbank is helpful.

goodluck!

hello guys, thanks for all ur support,, i am taking nclex rn ,,, the qbank , it is really helpful! my last day of att is june 17th , so i have no further date!!! i have to take test on that day....

Hold on there OP, you have time.

Don't let Kaplan overwhelm you. Kaplan is not all it's cracked up to be. Worst use for $400 ever IMHO. I would keep doing questions and especially the timed tests. But ignore the book they give you, and replace that with Saunders. Believe it or not, even as simplified as Saunders seems, it will take you farther, faster than Kaplan. Everybody is different, but the NCLEX, to me was not the kind of test that say, if I had a year more to study I would have done better. It is simply not a test of what you know. I did stop at a passing 75... thought I failed, but then realized that I could have walked into that test the day of graduation, and passed that test!! and I would've had $400 still in my pocket.

Wow.... U sound absolutely right...... I ll just focus onthe timed test,,,,,, if i happen to fail the test,,, yes i m sure to take saunders.................!!!! Do u know how is the nclex sample question like that is in the qbank? I havent started that one!!

Kaplan, Hurst, and any other nclex review may help in different ways. I went to live classes and online sessions for Kaplan. I did what Kaplan said I felt it prepared me to pass my nclex. I thought Kaplan was the best thing ever happen to me. The Kaplan book helped me. I paid on $299. I felt that was the best $299 I ever spent. Some people study Saunders and/or Lippincott and it worked for them. Just dont overwhelm yourself prior to the test. Dont study test questions right up to test time. Take a break and good luck to you. Dont be discouraged. Keep your head up.

Continue the Q-bank questions and remain calm. I don't agree with the Saunders idea, those

questions are too easy and Nclex questions are not. I remember during my nclex test there

were actually a few questions that showed up that I remembered doing on Kaplan.

Continue doing Kaplan all that you can. You have plenty of time. It's very important

to remain calm; even once you're a nurse you will have to be calm in tense situations.

When I went for my test.....I was so calm, but most people around me were not.

I felt very prepared for Nclex after Kaplan and I studied about the

same amount of time you are. Good luck, you'll do fine, just do the qbank. I never

did the timed questions. You need to be relaxed so you can retain the material.

Very good advice here. Our Kaplan teacher told us to have fun the day before the test and to not study. Which is what I did. Maybe that's why I felt so relaxed.
