Stopped at 85

Okay so I feel VERY nervous after taking the NCLEX-PN. I got about 7 of the select all that apply questions and about 12 meds...alot of which I did not recognize!! I'm hoping that most of those were pilots....alot of the pharma was actually part of the select all that apply questions. I stopped at 85. Does this mean I have a good chance of passing? Or do you think I miserably failed and it just shut me off at 85 because I got so many wrong.....I really have no clue how I felt about it....it could go both ways! Opinions please?? Thanks!

You have a great chance of passing. The number of questions is not really something that can be analyzed to predict the result. Keep in mind that everyone misses a ton of questions - it's the nature of the exam.

Good luck! Keep us posted.

Okay, i am normally an excellent test taker but this time i just felt so unsure and not so confident. i got so many meds and the test seemed to keep getting harder and harder. does anyone feel this way after taking the nclex??

:uhoh21:Gawd.... i took my yesterday and it stopped at 85 as well!! i don't know what to think of the Forsaken test. I tried so hard but felt like i knew nothing... it was such a humbling experience. i want to cry right now. I did soooo many review questions.... Used the Kaplan q bank. I felt like the things that i was really really prepared for weren't even asked! Lab values.... i didn't even have 1 question i think. i got lots of communication questions and q's regarding Employee teaching! the med questions i did get were regarding digoxin. i hope that the reason they didn't give me many more med questions was cuz i got those right... but OMG i feel soooo stupid right now. I'm in California so its going to be a looooong greuling wait.

It's supposed to keep getting harder and harder. That's a good thing.

You get an easy one right, the computer dishes out a harder one. If they were all easy you'd be doomed. But then again, you wouldn't know they were easy.

Try to relax.

Read somewhere that CA do manual check hence not participating in quick results. Sure you will hear something soon or see your name on website as long as you have SSN

how would u check for your name on the website??

how would u check for your name on the website??

As long as you have SSN then you check license using verification but this is not a guarantee as some don't see their name on site but get letter saying they have passed and because they delay putting names up think they failed. If name not on site then wait for letter

You can not check on the website until you have paid your License fee.... they don't issue you a license number until after you pay that 135 buckaroos! so there is no way around it.... GRRRRRR! Day 5 of the wait....
