Nursing Students Online Learning

I got my unofficial review :coollook:

I am a new grad LPN so all I have to take is the 7 nursing tests, I also have 12 gen ed credits to take which are written english, info lit, humanities and social science. I am going to concetrate on taking the nursing tests first my question is which ones should I start with? I was thinking of doing transition and health and safety together:D

I am on a mission to finish by June 2011(planning wedding and moving after I finish program), I work 32 hrs a week and dont have any kids. any suggestion to make my studying plan easier would be appreciated

Congrats.... I would not advice taking Health/Safety & Transition together, it's a lot of info. since you just graduate from LPN school, it might take you only couple weeks to review Health/Safety... but transition is a lot of memorization...anyways whatever you decide to do good luck, Welcome to EC.

I would take the tests one at a time. I believe you will find it easier and you can actually do it faster. I would do transitions first or last. It is boring as ever, so you might want to get it out of the way first.

thanks for your feedback I am excited and nervous to get this done

Specializes in NICU, ER.

Congrats on your adventure! I am a 2008 grad. I believe they make you start with Nursing Concepts 1 and then you can choose. I had a few non nsg classes to do so i finished those in between my other nursing concept classes. Good Luck to you!

Specializes in Dialysis.

I just started studying today for the first one. I'll be going one at a time.

Specializes in ER, ICU.

I just did them in order, it was easier to keep track of. Just start knocking them off. As I got ready to take a test I paid for the next one, so that when I was ready I wouldn't lose a few days waiting for the paperwork. Good luck!

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

The only one I did out of order was Nursing Concepts 7 (now Transitions) -- I did that one between Nursing Concepts 4 and 5 (now called Lifespan 1 and Lifespan 2). No reason, just felt like it. :)
