Nursing Students Western Governors

I am starting 12/1. I am so excited and so impatient. I can't wait. I need 34 credits to attain my BSN.

The hospitals in my area are all magnet status and will not hire me with my Associates. I went to visit my step dad in the hospital and it really made me yearn for the hospital experience. Soon very soon.

This post makes me happy for you, sad for me. I was supposed to start Dec 1st, but enrollment is suspended in my state right now :sorry:

I am sorry 704 that enrollment is suspended for you. I know this excitement and understand what a let down you must be feeling. Any idea when the school will be up and running in your state?

I am starting 12/1 also! I have 31 credits to get my BSN. I have been putting this off for several years now, but I am trying to get into NP school and my choices are VERY limited with only my associates. Good luck to you!

Hi! I am starting on 12/1/15 too. I graduated with my associates in May so I am ready to get this thing going. I am hoping to have my BSN finished before my year of experience is done (I started working as an RN in September). I need 32 credit units :Mummy: . Best of luck!

Specializes in psychiatric ER, Mental Health.

WGU RN-BSN Group Guidelines

This group was originally formed in 2011 with the purpose of providing a safe environment for current students to support and interact with other students. The group is intended for classmates to offer support, encouragement, ask general questions, talk about current events and updates, and celebrate their achievements. The group is monitored and has some basic guidelines that must be followed.

1. Students entering the group must be currently enrolled in the RN-BSN program and need to be within 30 days of their start date.

2. Any comments and questions that can be perceived as cheating will be deleted. This includes asking for or providing answers to specific course work. These posts will be deleted by the administrators. If we perceive it as such, then WGU would certainly perceive it as such, as they are quite strict on cheating and plagiarism.

3. If you are on term break please do not request task instructions or rubrics that you do not have access to. It is unfair to those who are actually doing the work and paying their tuition; it has occurred in the past and is unfair to students who have paid full tuition prices for their education. Posts of this nature will be deleted.

4. Personal attacks in the group forum or by personal messages toward the admins or other students should not be occurring, and will result in removal of the attacker from the group.

5. Please do not post personal, non-school, email addresses in the main body of the forum for any reason.

6. Students are encouraged to be vigilant for scam and inappropriate messaging within the group, and flag them for the admins to take down. This reporting is completely anonymous and will be handled by the administrators. The administrators attempt to monitor for such, but need the help of everyone to keep this to a minimum.

7. Students are welcome to post study tips and guides provided by WGU mentors in the files section of the group, to aid other students with their coursework. These files are monitored for verification purposes.

So, I took my pre test for care of the older adult... And got a 75%.

I asked my mentor if I could take my final exam... She hasn't gotten back.... She seems to think this is going to take me 3 terms... Haha I plan on doing it in 1
