2018 spring tmcc nursing program

Anyone applied for the Spring 2018 semester for TMCC? We're supposed to be getting our letters on November 9th. Does anyone applying know their scores? I'm sitting at a 7.2

I was told letters are in the mail, and cut off is 6.8..Good luck! Sounds like you should be in. I'm hoping as well sitting at 7.1

Where did you hear about that information? That makes me excited! I hope you get it as well.

I got my acceptance letter today! Did you get yours?

Yes I got my letter today!!

Congratulations! I also received my letter for the spring. Definitely excited but a bit nervous as well.

I'm nervous too. I'm waiting for our email that has our log in info to post our requirements. Have you guys done your back ground check or drug screen yet?

I did my background check but I haven't had time off work to go do the drug test. I'll probably do it the week after Turkey Day!

I received my log in to upload my documents yesterday, so I think if you're registered you should get one soon too!

Registered with what? I still haven't received an email... idk whats going on lol

Hey tmccstu2018,

When you return your acceptance of offer letter to the nursing program, they in turn release your name to admissions and records so you can register for classes. I was able to register for NURS138, NURS142, and NURS212 even though my degree emphasis in MyTMCC hasn't been updated. Admissions and records said that the degree emphasis takes a few weeks to update. You should be cleared to register though as long as you've turned in your acceptance of offer letter.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you told me 'cause I've been waiting for the degree to change in the system for me to register. Amber in Nursing was saying they were changing it and she was sending emails out but nothing was happening!

Yeah, when I checked in with her she had sent the list out to Admissions & Records to update, so I called them to see what was going on. Hopefully you have no issues registering!

I think after you're registered you get your email about how to log in to E-Value. That's where you'll upload all of your immunizations, CPR card, etc. If you don't get that email after you register definitely call Amber!

Awesome- it let me enroll. I also saw the extra lab fees for each class and cringed a little. With addition to having the extra $60 a credit and $1800 in books I'm crying on in the inside. I'm pretty sure we're supposed to get an email soon regarding our supplies.
