2018 spring tmcc nursing program

Anyone applied for the Spring 2018 semester for TMCC? We're supposed to be getting our letters on November 9th. Does anyone applying know their scores? I'm sitting at a 7.2

Hi Pilar87, I'm not sure if that question was directed to me or another poster. I did not end up applying for fall 2017 and only applied for spring 2018 getting in the first time. My GPA was 3.89 and my HESI was 96% overall so I didn't have an issue. I'm not sure where the cutoff was this semester to be honest! There were a few people in my cohort that did not get in for the fall that had similar GPA's as mine but had less than 90% on the HESI. So, very competitive for the fall! Good luck though, it's a tough but excellent program.

I see other members in this thread applied for fall but did not get in until Spring. Just wondering if anyone knows what the cut off was for fall 2017?

I'm not sure what the cut off was for fall 2017. I do know that advisors and instructors at TMCC were saying that the pool of applicants for the application was extremely large and it was a competitive one.

Did you guys find out if you got in for Spring by November?

Hi HopePRN,

My acceptance letter is dated 10/30/17 and postmarked 11/1/17 so yes!

That being said things area always changing in the program. With an increase in the number of cohort members that are accepted it may take a bit longer.

If you don't hear anything by Mid-November give the program a call! The admin is a big help and may have an estimated time for you.

Best of luck!
