My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

@movingup22 how much was the titers, physical and such at the community clinic?

for anyone who needs recertification for CPR and can't make it to the free class, there is a november 3rd class at the medical campus (59$) . they give you your cards right there at the end of class. For those going to the free class ask if it is CPR for HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS

Titer is a test that is done to check if you are immune to a certain disease like for example, chickenpox, measles, mumps, rubella, etc its is done to check your levels if it is too low then you will need to get the vaccinations to prevent you from getting those diseases

To everyone applying, good luck to you!!! I am currently in the lpn-rn bridge/ transition program at MDC Medical campus. I recommend applying to the schools website for scholarships- include a sort essay and frequently resubmit your scholarship application every 2-3 months. I have received over 5 scholarships from MDC- however, they come late after I had to pay for classes out of pocket but it's better than not receiving at all. Also, if you are a Broward County resident-like myself please apply to Career source broward- WIOA program. you can get up to $8200 for this nursing program. i will include the link. I found out about this program in my 3rd-final semester but it helped pay 1700 for my last semester! Any questions please ask. PS start reading fundamental chapters 1-6.
