Spring 2018 MDC Nursing Program

My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

She said we can get the card or the certificate. If we get the card it'll take 2-3 weeks to come in the mail. The only reason they changed the location is because the a.c broke in the room they do it in. She couldn't give me the address because the person in charge leaves at 7. Ill call tomorrow morning and post the new location address for you guys.

I'll go! 2 to 3 weeks will be cutting it close don't ya think?

The accelerated orientation is on the 28 of November so to me it seems like enough time. I honestly don't think it'll take 3 full weeks to get to us.

Right now free is my best friend since the other stuff I will have to pay for out of pocket. Omg, I'm getting nervous and scared. This month is going by really fast and the 22nd I leave for my vacation so I am scrambling to get all my stuff done before I go.

This is true. Free is always best!

At first time was going by super slow and now all of a sudden it's mid October. It'll be great to meet some of yall at this free cpr class!

Yes, October is going by fast and I am not ready! Imagine the people that are not on this site and are probably waiting until getting the acceptance letter to do everything. I just scheduled my appointment for the fingerprints on Monday. Tomorrow Ill try to get the doctors appointment for all the test, apply for the loan and tell my boss I need the 28th of November off.

So we don't have to get everything from mdc as far as shots

The only thing i got from mdc is where to go for the background check. The rest i went to a community clinic.

Anyone want to do the CPR class on November 4? :)

wherever you decide to go the school will want titers to see the levels of hep b, tdap, varicella, and mmr. if you get the shots the school will make you get titers for those given shots 6-8 weeks after the shot was given. also if you have gotten titers in the last 5 years i believe they are still valid as long as you provide document of their LEVELS not the actual injection date from 2012 to now (within the last 5 yrs)
