Spring 2010 CSN ADN Program

Just wondering, seeing how competitive i am.... How many are applying to Spring 2010 at CSN? And what is your score? If you don't feel comfortable telling your score, just say if you are applying. I have heard that there arent many applicants this semester but also heard to the contrary, there are LOTS of applicants this semester. So I'm confused and just wondering how many are applying? I know not nearly EVERYONE who applied goes on allnurses.com, but just out of those on here, I was wondering who applied for full time spring 2010. Thanks!

I got my call at around 9:40 am, and yes, I'm in LV! I applied with 31 points. How many points did you apply with, ConnellK?

I had 26 points... but this is very low... try for highest points you can get!

:yeah:Congrats to TooCuteForWords and SockMonkey!!!

I applied with 27 points and I didn't get a call... :imbar

I'm so bummed.... I probably didn't get the spot.

Does anyone know until when they stop calling accepted students?

Waaaaaahhhhhhhh :sniff:

Ah, Booo!!!! Sorry, Registered Nut!!! One question though- if TooCuteForWords got in with 26 points then you should have gotten in with 27! Am I missing something here?

:crying2: :sniff: :crying2:

I know SockMonkey... it doesn't make sense to me. *huge sigh*

I just hope they're not done with the calls.

If you don't get a call tomorrow I would say call the school and ask if you are sure you had that many points and you heard people got accepted with less points than you. Perhaps there was something wrong with your application and they didn't feel it it was complete, either way you need some kind of answer as to why if you were above the cut off.

I just read on another thread that a part-timer got a call just a bit ago to say she's an alternate. Give it the evening, I know it's hard! Maybe it's something silly like they mis-dialed your number!

Sockmonkey:

So do they call full time first and then part time or they call ramdomly?

I have an out of state number, so maybe they're calling locals numbers first?

Aussie:

THanks for the tips. I'll definitely call tomorrow during PM if I don't get a call in the AM. I turned in my application two months prior to deadline... maybe they lost it? I made sure it was complete following the checklist they provided... but I didn't follow up personally thereafter.

Do you know if they call by descending points, alphabetically, or just random? Man! I'm so sad... I don't know what to think anymore. I just hope they're not done calling everyone who got in.

:sniff:

I don't think it's alphabetically because I know someone who's last name starts with R and they got their call pretty early like 10.30, 11ish so I think it might go by points. but guess it also depends whether there is just one person making phone calls or more than one as to how long it takes. Sock monkey is right, with all those phone numbers to call I can imagine it would be pretty easy to mis-dial.

Registered Nut- I really don't know. My friend who was accepted to part time got her call at 8:30, I got in to full-time and I got my call at 9:40. And we're both at the beginning of the alphabet. I had 31 points, she had 29. That's ALL I know! :(

Oh, and a woman called her and a man called me. So def more than one person calling.

thanks for the info sockmonkey... so its seems random.

i'll just keep my fingers crossed til tomorrow... and stare at my phone.

congrats to you! i'll keep checking on this thread just in case... :sniff:
