Spring Classes

Thanks Didi for trying it out. I am eagerly checking every few hours to see if the spring schedule has posted yet!!!!

I sent an email to my advisor today. Will let everyone know what I find out!

This is the reply I got:

The RN-to-BSN course offerings for Spring Semester should be available sometime today, Tuesday, October 30th. They will be listed in the Quick Links section of the RN-to-BSN Student Knowledge Center, next to the Fall Course Offerings.

If not, we are hopeful they will be up tomorrow.

I received a response in about 20 minutes from sending the original email. I am very relieved to get a quick answer! Hopefully we will be able to see the schedule soon!

Im so glad someone posted a thread about this because I was very frustrated about not being able to sign up. Also, not seeing the course offerings for spring was disappointing.

Im just glad I am almost done with this program. I am beyond frustrated with OU since they switched to semesters. It has not been a smooth transition. 2 more nursing classes and I will be done. Im thinking I will finish my non nursing classes elsewhere if I can.

Has anyone heard anything else about registering for classes today? I am becoming beyond frustrated with this program...I understand that they are trying to transition but if they are having difficulties they need to be sending out mass emails or posting on their website to let us all know what is going on. This is unacceptable considering we are all paying them for their services!

Are classes still not posted? That is ridiculous. How do they even think it is ok to post classes 3 days AFTER registration begins.

[/h][h=5]For my RN to BSN FB friends...Please be patient with us. This fall has been a transitional time for the nursing program due to the switch to semesters, and also because all nursing classes have been converted to Blackboard to be consistent with the rest of the university. Although spring preregistration is now open, the departments involved behind the scenes are still working to get spring course offerings posted for you to view. That means that no students have been able to enroll, so no classes have closed out yet. There will be plenty of time to enroll, and although we expect offerings to be posted soon, I do not have a time frame for this yet. Please don't be abrasive to our staff on the phone...I work with these folks on a daily basis and trust me, they work very hard to make things go as smoothly as they possibly can for all of you. We're doing our best. Thank you for your patience.

They need to stop. Not everyone is on FB. I would appreciate an email about what is going on. They have plenty of time to be sending out SPAM along with weekly communications and cant find the time to even post a message for their students......

Still no class schedule for Spring! Makes it difficult to plan ahead.
