does this sound right?

i cant get a hold of the nursing department to ask. but, my friend told me it was $15,000 a semester for a community college for non-district students. is this true? i was thinking maybe $15,000 for all semesters together but idk. anyone know of a good college school that doesnt have a waiting list? thanks

I'm sure the school's website could better answer that question than we can. Every school is different.

Yes you need to contact the school, or check their website, don't go by what a friend says.

That definitely doesn't sound right....and if it is, I'd find another school! Good luck!

hey guys. thanks for the replies. i just talked to the person behind the desk earlier and he said that it is $5000 for the whole program. whew! i knew it didnt sound right. thats right around a private school's price!

I dont think I have paid $15k for my entire BSN.....

I go to community and our non resident tuition rate is ABSURD! The resident rate is much better and than we have some other discount. It comes out to around 9 thousand for the nursing program.

I just found out though that the RN-BSN program I plan on doing isn't eligible for the state discount and comes out to around 2500 a semester for 5 semesters. That is absurd as well but cheaper than like University or Phoenix or Regis.

Any time you can get resident fees at a school you are better off. Worth taking the time to establish residency.

Wow...$5,000 for the whole program? That's awesome! Mine will end up being about $13,000 and I got to a community college. Good luck!
