Congratulations!! You will soon be learning a new job, so the stress will return for a while. Remember, though, that it will eventually subside. For now, work on relationships with your family and friends. I bet you had to miss being with them while in school. Read a good book just for fun. Take care of yourself.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How exciting this weekend will be for you! It took me awhile to get used to having "free" evenings, not having to rush out of work to get to school. I would stroll after work and shop or come home and sleep! I couldn't even think of the NCLEX at first, I was in strict "vacation mode"! It's an adjustment, but you'll get used to it. After the NCLEX stress was over, then the job search excitement began and continues. Anyway, good luck in everything!
Congrats, happy student! :balloons:
I'm right there with you. I slept alot the first couple days and then started cleaning the house top to bottom. Now I've signed up for a bunch of hours at work and I still feel like I need to be doing more. Right now for instance, I just got home from a 12 hour shift and I'm going to work on my internet nclex review course. What did school do to me????
Congratulations again! Take care! :)
Congratulations! :balloons:
I was pinned last night. I'm catching up on some sleep. Spending a little more time with family. I'm staying up tonight so I can sleep tomorrow, because I start training on night shift as a new GPN tomorrow night.
I'm spending some time studying random nursing stuff in a review book, and spending some time online just enjoying chat or emailing friends or sites like this. I'm sort of easing and not worrying too much for now. Need some time for slowing down and shifting gears. Does that make sense?
When I get my Authority To Test I'll schedule my NCLEX.

I've been living off 'nursing school stress' for the last 3 years...........Now Im done, pinning is friday the 14th and graduation is saturday. What do I do? Of course I will sit for boards, but I have all this 'extra time' on my hands. I feel like I should be doing a care plan or something............... :chuckle or washing my clinical outfit at midnight while studying for an exam........... :chuckle
What did you do after graduation???? :rotfl:
