Jul 14, 201213 yr My Nursing course requires white nursing shoes or white soft sole tennis shoes .... Any recommendations?
Jul 19, 201213 yr I have been wearing these since I started nursing school. I always get 12-hour rotations and these hold up very well, pretty cheap too. The back is a little low and it kinda feels like it might come off, but it never does and I got used to it. Landau FootWeaRX Women's Scrubzone Energize Nursing Shoe | allheart.comI gave in and decided to buy these shoes from your suggestion! The heel is pretty low so it does have a feeling like it might come off, but I love the fact that it has no laces and it just slips on. I also have always had a preference of keeping my shoes loose (keeping the laces ties loosely so I could just slip my feet in and out.) I got them today and so far I love them. :)

Jul 19, 201213 yr I'm getting Nikes. They are the only tennis shoes I can wear comfortably. Our handbook says "no nursing clogs" so I don't know if that means no nursing shoes in general or just the clog style.

Jul 20, 201213 yr My school has the same shoe requirements as you, and I got the Nurse Mates Dove after reading reviews on several popular nursing shoes. They are very economical in comparison to other shoes out there! Another added benefit is they have a leather stain-resistant surface so they are easy to clean if you get something on them.
Jul 21, 201213 yr I have Danskos, and they do ok for short shifts, (8 hours) but I don't like them for 12s, they are so heavy! I feel like they slow me down. I need to find some good tennis shoes... maybe running shoes (for runners) they tend to have extra padding for shock absorption... *ponders*
Jul 21, 201213 yr I bought some all white Nike Shox at a Nike outlet and they were on sale. My program doesn't allow clogs so I had to buy tennis shoes but here is the website I would've used had I not found the shoes I wanted in person. Shoes White All White | Eastbay.com
