Send a prayer my way

Published

I have my NCLEX on Monday:eek:. I studied hard and did thousands of review questions, but I'm still pretty nervous. Sometimes I think I'm going to kick NCLEX behind, but then..............well, you all know how that goes.

Any suggestions on how to stay calm? Really, I'm asking that one behalf of my poor husband and kids:mad:

We had the Kaplan guy that does NCLEX review come and talk to our class. He says the number one thing a person should do is assume that you are going to take the maximum number of questions instead of thinking you are only going to get 75. He said if you think you will only take 75 and you get to question 79 people tend to freak out. So just prepare for the maximum number and know that you can pass if you take 200 some odd questions. I haven't taken the NCLEX yet but I cannot wait to be in your shoes. Take some deep breaths and good luck. You'll be fine. Let me know the good news.:roll

Yes, assume you'll get the maximum and plan accordingly. Other than that, do something relaxing the day before, and DO NOT study. There's very little else you can absorb at this point, and you've studied so much already. You need to rest your brain because you're going to use it a lot during the exam!

I'll pray for you to pass, and please do the same for me :) Best of luck to you.

...make sure you have a good night's rest the night before, a good breakfast of whatever food you enjoy and won't give you heartburn, and relax. Plan on getting to the site about 30 minutes early so you have cushion time if you run into bad traffic or weather.

...remember, you passed nursing school! Hugs & prayers...:)

Remember to put the test in the lords hands, he has seen all the hard work you have done, so he won't let you leave that place empty handed meaning you are walking out passing that nclex. Remember to keep the faith and take your time.

I will pray for you and you remember to pray for me too.

Hello Stacie!

I pray that GOD will be with you as you take your exam on tomorrow. I pray that HE WILL bring back to your remembrance the things you've read, heard, studied, and experienced so that you may manifest the CORRECT ANSWERS on your NCLEX EXAM. I pray that HE WILL bless you exceedingly and abundantly above all that you can ask or think! I pray that as you delight yourself in HIM that HE WILL give you the DESIRES of your heart. I pray that you continue to trust in HIM with ALL YOUR HEART and LEAN NOT unto your OWN UNDERSTANDING, in ALL YOUR WAYS acknowledge HIM and HE WILL DIRECT YOUR PATHS. IN JESUS NAME, AMEN.

:nurse:Stacie,

I know you've taken your test already and the anxiety may still be upon you until you get your results. But I want to send you a prayer as well, that all your hard work and prayers will pay off. You have to pass because you acknowledge God and is depending on Him to see you through. You have faith, too, because you are calling out to others to pray for you. And you know prayer changes things. When you get your passing results, thank and praise Him first! What God has for you, is for you. Your life is already mapped out. Continue to follow, lean and depend, praise and worship Him. Your story will be of help to others, so tell them how good He is to you.

I must make a comment on Rozy's post. My grandmother always says that Scripture, "In all thine ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths". That was wonderful! It inspired me! I take my boards on Mar 24, and I really appreciate how others send words of encouragement and hope. All who have responded to Stacie's post, thank you, because you have help me as well. Please pray for me, too. God Bless.
